This project is built in the open. Here is the honest picture: what you can run today, and the external conditions still pending before we would recommend it in production.
Register with blind close, multi-site inventory, purchasing, transfers, the flexible tax model (VAT/INC, tax-inclusive or not), customer price levels, no-inventory services, GS1 scales and the optional AI core. All of it is real code in the repository, with test suites and performance budgets in CI.
See what is built in detailThe fiscal engine (numbering, CUFE, per-line classification) is built, but enabling it with the DIAN through their test set is an external procedure not yet completed. Until then, Puntovivo does not issue legally valid electronic invoices.
Windows packages do not ship signed yet. Meanwhile, no update installs silently on Windows: every one requires your explicit action.
Printers, drawers and scales are implemented by protocol (ESC/POS, GS1 wedge), but validation against a representative sample of real retail equipment is still pending.
Before recommending production, a real store must operate with support. If you want to be that pilot, write to us.
Yes - to run register, inventory and purchasing in a business that does not need certified electronic invoicing yet. It is open source: you can read exactly what it does before trusting it with your operation.
